Experienced personnel, along with a new state-of-the-art facility, are devoted to ensuring complete customer satisfaction. All windmill motors undergo a 20-point inspection procedure, developed to ensure proper motor operation and quality, and overseen by our windmill professionals.
INSPECTION REPORT & PROCEDURES
Our Standard Quality Control Checklist must be complete before any new windmill leaves our facility.
The following are checked during inspections:
- Leak checked motor
- 560/716 helmet for imperfections and proper fit
- Exterior and interior for visual defects
- 744 Key for tightness in 704 small gears
- Hole for X-622 pin on 6ft. motors
- Cleaned threads in 703/903 hub
- Threads for 580 spring holder
- Ensure the nut for 703/903 hub is properly installed
- All pins for proper installation
- Ensure the screws on 706 support are tight
- 755 gears for proper alignment
- 507 oil ring for defects
- 608 yoke for defects
- 507 oil ring during rotation of motor for correct operation
- Turned 703/903 hub and checked for proper motor operation
- 610 pin
- 508 Pitman Guide
- Stamped motor with date code, serial number and inspector's initials
- Cleaned exterior of motor
- Installed BM-BOB, instructions, oil and palletized
